Andrea Cole, P.E., Esq.
Andrea Cole joined Dominion Water & Sanitation District in June 2021 as the General Manager. As General Manager, Andrea will manage the water, wastewater, and storm water systems for Dominion’s wholesale customers. Dominion currently serves Sterling Ranch a master-planned community in Douglas County, located south of Chatfield Reservoir, which is planned for up to 12,000 residential homes. Sterling Ranch is the first community in Douglas County that incorporated renewable water into its portfolio from inception. This vision has set the stage for water sustainability in Douglas County and is a tenant of Dominion.
Andrea will lead Dominion in partnering with stakeholders in Douglas County to provide a regional solution for wastewater treatment and continue to advance renewable water for its customers. Andrea will leverage her 22 years of experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver effective solutions for water supply challenges to advance Dominion’s vision. Prior to joining Dominion, Andrea partnered with municipalities across the country serving as Program Manager or Owners Advisor providing strategic thought leadership and advice to advance complex water supply and storage projects. Andrea is skilled at garnering consensus to drive projects forward through effective communication and organizational skills.
Andrea earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Bio-Resources Engineering from Montana State University, and later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Andrea is a licensed Engineer in the States of Colorado and Kansas and is a licensed attorney in the State of Colorado.
